„Windows 7“ RC: „Microsoft“ tai dar kartą padarė

In urma cu cateva zile, pagina de Atsisiųskite a site-ului partner.microsoft.com arata cam asa:

Cateva ore mai tarziu, textul a fost inlocuit cu cel initial, in care ni se spunea ca perioada de downloadare a „Windows 7“ Beta s-a terminat.

Insa anuntul despre data lansarii Windows 7 RC a stat indeajuns internete ca sa dea un nou impuls zvonurilor create in jurul acesteia.Si spun zvonuri pentru ca, cu toate ca „Microsoft“ insusi a anuntat ca aceasta va fi pe 5 mai 2009, se pare ca postarea a fost una accidentala, asemanatoare cu cea de acum cateva saptamani de pe technet.microsoft.com. Asta dupa ce initial data lansarii fusese stabilita (tot de Microsoft) pe 10 aprilie 2009. Asadar, 5 mai? 5 iunie? 5 iulie? Doar Microsoft stie (sau nu). Deocamdata a confirmat doar ca Release Candidate este disponibil pentru OEM-uri (DellAr SiemensAr Toshiba etc.)

Insa pana la lansarea oficiala a Windows 7 RC, Microsoft ne sfatuieste sa nu downloadam si mai ales, sa nu instalam, versiuni ale Windows 7 care zburda libere pe torrente, deoarece acelea detin un factor mare de risc.

If there’s a thing that we absolutely do not recommend to end users, it’s that they should download interim builds of Windows 7 from torrent trackers. All such releases put end users at risk because there’s no telling how the source of the leaked builds tampered with the bits.

Microsoft’s official channels should be considered as the sole source of Windows 7 development milestones. Why? Because many leaked releases can be affected by hackers.
