Cu putin timp in urma Microsoft a publicat un important update de securitate (KB983590) care rezolva o vulnerabilitate -en .NET Framework 3.5.1 og Microsoft Silverlight pe toate sistemele de operare Windows 7 si Windows Server 2008 R2.
Vulnerabilitatea este destul de grava si din spusele celor de la Microsoft, atacatorul poate obtine controlul total asupra calculatorului / bærbar computer-ului tinta.
