The artificial intelligence models develop at an incredible speed, which we cannot imagine 3-4 years ago. Recently, Openai has officially revealed the GPT-4.5, the newest version of the model that is the Chatgpt, considered to be the fastest and most efficient launched. Although GPT-4.5 impresses with increased accuracy and improved emotional intelligence, Openai promises that this is not its most advanced model. What does the new GPT-4.5 bring?
The new model comes as an update of its predecessor, GPT-4o, and promises a more natural and conversational experience for users. In other words, a language slightly closer to the human than the previous model. Openai states that the new GPT-4.5 version significantly reduces “hallucinations” (those erroneous or invented answers that artificial intelligence models can sometimes generate) and improve accuracy in processing information. In addition, GPT-4.5 is more brief and able to invite users to continue the conversation, instead of providing only detailed and exhaustive answers.
An aspect that stands out, about which I said in the introduction, is the superior emotional intelligence of the model. Unlike the previous versions of Chatgpt, GPT-4.5 seems to approach the conversational style of other chatbots such as Claude from Anthropic, which has been praised for its more natural and empathetic responses.
How can you access GPT-4.5
The new version is already available, but not for all users. GPT-4.5 is available for Chatgpt Pro subscribers, which pay $ 200 per month for access to the highest level of Openai technology. Starting next week, the model will be extended to Chatgpt Plus ($ 20 per month) users and Team subscribers, and later to reach users in Enterprise and Edu categories. This gradual launch reflects the Openai strategy to test and refine the real-time model, based on the received feedback.

The step toward the future GPT-5 language
The multitude of models and names that Openai has chosen for its models creates a lot of confusion among users, and GPT-4.5 does not solve this problem. With the launch of the GPT-5, the expected version towards the end of this year, Openai will solve this problem. The future model, GPT-5, will unify the fast chat requirements with more complex reasoning needs, eliminating the need to change between different models. Until then, GPT-4.5 is presented as a research preview, meant to replace GPT-4o and provide an improved experience.
