Stealth Settings in Network Neighborhood/LAN
Ehh… It is not really like Stealth Settings from Yahoo! Messenger, But it's a simple way to make your computer invisible For the other users of Network Neighborhood / My Network Places.
Instructions :P
1. click Start and select Run.
2. In the Run box, writecmd and press Enter or OK to open Command Prompt.
3. Write in Command Prompt : net config server /hidden:yes , and press Enter .
“The command completed successfully.”
Now your computer is invisible in Network Neighborohood! :)
Once set invisibly, files in Folders Share cannot be accessed by other users from LAN unless I know the exact path of the Share folder and the name of the PC. (\ computer name share name).
