Daca sunteti singurul utilizator al unui PC, probabil contul pe care va logati la sistem nu este protejat de parola. Dar daca la respectivul PC mai au acces si alti useri, mai mult sau mai putin curiosi, este recomandat ca acestui cont sa ii angajati un bodyguard sau sa ii cumparati un seif. Desi mai simplu (si mai ieftin) ar fi sa il protejati cu o parola. Insa, daca optati pentru ultima varianta, exista riscul sa uitati parola. De aceea ne-am gandit sa intindem o mana de ajutor celor aflati intr-o astfel de situatie, aratandu-le cum se pot loga pe XP fara a sapa (la propriu) dupa parola pierduta.
Pe fiecare sistem pe care este instalat, Windows XP creates default un cont numit Administrator. Care, tot default, not activated. That's why, to access this account, you have to boot into Windows Safe Mode (restart->F8->Start Windows in Safe Mode). If the default settings of the system were not modified, the Administrator user will not be under the strict protection of any password.

After logging in as Administrator, go to User Settings control panel, where you can change passwords to all users on the system. As tempting as it is, stick to yours :P
After changing the password, remained PC and let it boot normally. Then log in with your user using the new one password set.
