btdna.exe has been used for a long time by customer BitTorrent (automatically installed by it) as a peer-to-peer content carrier (peer-to-peer content distribution network). As long as the Bittorrent was opened, this process accelerated visibly (in most cases) Download speed and upload, but remaining open in the system and after completing the download tasks (after closing the torrent client), btdna.exe became danger. It has been written for a long time and a lot of controversies have appeared on the margin of this process suspected of vulnerability at the network level.
On the new version of Bittorrent, Btdna.exe is no longer present, but users who use older versions and want the separate uninstall of this process, can do it very simple:
1. Start -> Run
2. Copy / Paste – > C:Program FilesDNAbtdna.exe” /UNINSTALL -> Enter sheep ok.
.. or directly from Panel Control -> Add/Remove Programs.
btdna.exe is not a vital (core) process of the Windows operating system.
