I don't know how I succeeded these days but repeatedly disappeared to me icon-ule default of the Opera Browser. Instead of the circle “O” red, it appears to me so much on shortcutthe on Desktop as well as in Windows 7 Taskbar, icon-ul default de “unknown file“.
How we recover / change the icon of an application.
In a default mode, the SHORTCUTCUCT 10.10 has the icon:

In case this icon disappears suddenly, or you want to change it, you must follow a few very simple steps.
1. Click-right on the application shortcut (Opera, Firefox, Winamp, Internet Explorer, etc…) to whom you want to change their icon & click pe Properties.
2. In tab-ul “Shortcut” We find the button Change Icon … Click on this button.

3. A Windows / a dialog box will open, in the default location of the executable, which contains all the default icons of the application. For the Browser Opera, the default location is %Programmfiles%operapera.exe . Here we can select one of the default icons…or we can press the button “Browse” to select another icon from our computer.

4. Select (double-click) the new icon for the Opera Shortcut and press OK & Apply.

5. For those who have Windows 7 or Windows Vista, a dialog box will open that will ask for administrator permission for the modification made.

PRESS “Continue“.
After this step, the icon from the opera was modified.

Users of Windows 7, can i click-right on the shorttut shorttcu & Pin to Taskbar to put the work with the new icon in Taskbar.

This method can be applied to all installed programs, but it is useful only if any icon disappears or if you want to make a small customizare a taskbarin Windows 7.
