A simple tutorial that helps us set Pop3 or IMAP for Yahoo! Mail.
With the fulfillment of 16 years Since the launch e-mail service, Yahoo! has completely changed interface to him, for Web version as well as for mobile applications. How can we configure Pop3 or IMAP access for Yahoo! Mail in Outlook?
- open Outlook and click on File > Add Account
- ENTER NAMEs and Your email address, then select PROTOCOL which you want to use (Pop3 or IMAP)
- ENTER Protocol settings selected and login data (email address and word) then click on Next and on Finish
Official settings for access Pop3 or IMAP in Yahoo!Mail are the following:
POP3 incoming server:

- SSL: SSL/TLS
IMAP incoming server:
- Server :
imap.mail.yahoo.com - Port: 993
- SSL: SSL/TLS
Outgoing server SMTP:
- Server:
smtp.mail.yahoo.com - Port: 465
- SSL: SSL/TLS
You will also need to specify Port settings and activate SSL and TSL in Internet E-mail Settings (click pe More Settings then on the tab Advanced).
After you set up settings described above, you will be able to access your email account Yahoo! FROM Outlook. Succes!
