MSPaint it needs no introduction. Even the most inexperienced user get in touch with Paint- since the first interactions with the computer. As for usability, it rocks! The most at hand editor for some unpretentious retouching (such as apart from, text or other bases).
But there are not rare cases when, due to excess zeal or chance, or even ignorance (what does this button do?) we wake up that instead of mspaint we have "ms-ghost-paint”. And in such cases, do you miss him? :P
In order to recupera mspaint you have at hand 3 simple solutions, two of them depending on things adjacent,: another PC or a CD Installation Windows XP.
1. if you don't have the XP installation CD, remember the name of the friend who (still) uses Windows XP. Take/borrow one memory stick (or buy a CD/DVD) and run to that friend (or the next one :P) and copy mspaint.exe FROM %system%/Windows/system32 on it (where %system% is the partition on which the system is installed). Then replace the one who ran away from home with this one. Make one shortcut in Accessories or on desktop, and done.
2. if you have the Windows XP installation CD, it is much better, because you no longer depend on your friends :). Insert the CD into CD-ROM and then go in Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs->Add/Remove Windows Components->double-click on Accessories and Utilities->double-click on Accessories->check Paint->OK->Next... Then restart and remove the installation CD. After restart mspaint he will be in his place.
3. The simplest solution, for those without friends with XP, without an XP installation CD (or without friends with an XP installation CD :P) or, above all, for the comfortable/lazy/etc. is to download mspaint.exe from the internet (be careful that the publishers to be reliable, otherwise you may have to Reinstall the system or experience other unpleasant consequences that lead to the first option) and then copy it to %system%/Windows/system32. Simple, right? :)
Oh, there was something else... download mspaint.exe :P
