GTalk Vs. Yahoo! Messenger 8.1

Lately Yahoo! Messenger, convinced me that the time has come to use only Google Talk.

Three reasons to give up Y!M in favor of Gtalk:

1. Yahoo! Messenger 8.1 asks for a lot more resources system than Gtalk. (Yahoo! Messenger for Windows Vista, requires twice as much as Y!M 8.1)

2. Y!M 8.1 it gets stuck inexplicably at startup and I lose offline messages. (problem encountered on Windows Vista Home Premium)

3. IDthe mess, ended up worse than currency. Exchange of lists and the messages "emo", they took my breath away. Yes...I got my ID through such lists.

Google Talk is perfect for those who converse daily with two or three people, client who do not miss the masses and the exchange of id lists. It doesn't have smileycool like Y!M and no graphic interface that will catch your eye. It is clean and very easy to use. It includes the main utilities of Y!M:

Transfer of files (you can send via IM and 700MB at once. tested)
voicemail – option that allows sending voice messages to e-mail.
Call (PC-to-PC voice) - and it sounds very good.
preview to the sent/received pictures, in the IM window
email notification-s received on the account of gmail.
keep the archives conversations very nicely organized and easy to access, in the gmail account. (on Y!M Vista, I haven't seen this option yet)
– can be accessed via web interface via gmail, if Gtalk is not installed on the PC.
clean graphics and a few Skinuri which can be changed very easily. It has avatare and the possibility of setting status. (does not allow "invisible" mode).

The only option that gives Y!M an advantage over Gtalk is the webcam. I don't use it, so I'm not interested.
