Tonight I had a very cool experience. I was called by an acquaintance of his I repair a laptop. Asking on the phone ” but what does it have? ” (I had to think about which operating system to take with me and which drivers, in order to reinstall the system as a force majeure measure), I was immediately put to think. “Pai…it's an older model… go with OF THE…and we need to run a program on it…etc“.
Nene operating system OF THE (Disk Operating System) is of no use to me, but I admit that I haven't had much experience with it OF THEthe After the surprise with the operating system, an even bigger one followed. I found myself dealing with one prehistoric mini-laptop. I started with ICE FELIX HC-91 followed shortly by a BYTE, but I skipped the PC (laptop) model in the images below.

With an 8 MB HDD, a BIOS 1989 – 1990 and one display monocrom, this wonderful laptop is in use for 20 years and it still works. I will probably come back with more technical details about it on Monday or Tuesday.

We will see Alienware- them in operation over 20 years? :-)

P.S. The problem is solved. These do not have auto-detect for HDD in the BIOS. It makes you choose the best one from 49 types. I was lucky that somewhere on the right side there was a sheet of paper on which the HDD data was written for 19 years.
