A very simple application to use but very useful when we realize that I deleted by mistake from the PC hard disk or from a data carrier (SD Card, USB Flash Drive, HDD extern, iPhone, iPod, etc…) files I still needed. Documents, applications, databases, images, video files, archives…etc…)

iCare Format Recovery v2.0 Ne Permite Sa recover files deleted after formatting, after some human or system errors, files inaccessible due to hard disk errors (bad MBR / corrupt partition), files on deleted partitions. At the end of the data recovery process, the application allows filtering the results by file extensions (.psd, .avi, .jpg, .ai, .exe, .dll, .etc…) and after the time interval (files modified, created or accessed between date X and date Y).

Recovery of deleted files from USB Flash Drive after formatting.
To test this application, I used one as a guinea pig USB Stick de 2GB which I had a folder with .jpg files (pictures) and video files (.avi), plus one folder with an application of distribution.
1. First of all, I formatted the USB stick. QuickFormat.
2. I installed iCare Format Recovery v2.0, I opened the application, selected the formatted USB Flash Disk & click Recover.
It should be noted that the graphic interface of the application is simple and very intuitive.
3. The scanning process (Recover) lasted approx 3 minute. A rather short time to scan a 2GB USB stick.
4. The result.
At the end of the data recovery process I had a surprise. All pictures and Movies were recovered, except for the kit (an .exe) of the distribution software. Instead, I found files of one Windows XP bootabil and of one Linux which were in the past on USB Stick.
