I don't know because of which "scientific experiment" Microsoft came to be considered a kind of Santa Claus grafted with the Easter Bunny (or will it be in competition with the two of them?), but it is certain that we are not complaining. As I said in a previous post, one of Microsoft's recent "gifts" was the 90-day trial for Windows 7 Enterprise. The deadline for the availability of this "watch" version should have been yesterday, March 31, 2010. However (and despite the fact that today is April 1), it was decided the extension promotion until December 31, 2010, which means you can downloada and testa this special trial anytime until the end of the year.
Windows 7 Enterprise 90-day Trial is available in both versions – 32bit si 64bit - and in several languages - not including Romanian.
If you decide to test this trial on the computer(s) provided, first of all make sure that:
- you made a backup of all important data stocate in PC
- you have a processor that will allow you to install this OS, i.e minim 1GHz, minim 1GB RAM and minimum 16 GB hard disk space
- you have compatible DVD drive
- you have Internet access

Note:
- Although it is available until the New Year, the trial is only for 90 days. For example, you can download and install this trial until December 31, but it will expire after 3 months from the date of installation, after which the system will start restarting every hour.
- The trial must be activated within a maximum of 10 days after its installation, otherwise the system will start restarting every hour, until it is activated (you will not need product key, it is integrated in the installation image).
- The fact that this post was published on April 1 - the traditional April Fool's Day – it is a simple coincidence and must be treated as such.
