We take the spit in which we physically installed five devices Philips Hue, thus:
Living: ceiling Flourish Hue, lamp Philips Flourish Hue, two bars Hue Play (located in the area of an office).
Bedroom: lamp Philips Bloom Hue.
How do you distribute Philips Hue lights on rooms and areas
In order to be able to control several devices simultaneously, you need to distribute the Philips Hue lights on rooms and areas in the HUE application installed on your mobile phone.
1. Open the app Hue For which you have installed and configured Hue Bridge, go to the menu with the three points on the top right then press the option “Add new Room or Zones“.

2. You choose if you want to add a physical room (living room, bedroom, kitchen, terrace, bathroom) or an area in a room. I chose to start with the addition of a room (living).
Press on the option “Room“, choose a representative icon and the name of the room in the house.

3. Next if the lights are already associated with Hue Bridge console, tick “Unassigned lights” and select the lights that will be added for the room “Living”.

Thus, the four light inteligente Philips were distributed for the room “Living” and will be able to be controlled simultaneously. Courtesy Flourish Hue, lamp Philips Flourish Hue, the two bars Hue Play.
As I said at the beginning, the two Hue Play bars are positioned in the Living Office area. Thus, a separate area can be created by which to control these two intelligent lights separately.
How do you create areas with lights in the HUE app?
To create areas with lights in the Hue application, the steps are almost similar to the above in which we added the lights for the living room.
1. Open the HUE app.
2. Access the menu on the top right side and choose the option “Add new Room or Zone“.
3. You choose “Zone” to be able to control the lights in a certain area of the room simultaneously.
4. Select the lights in the newly created area.
5. Save the new configuration.

This way the two bars Philips Play Hue will be able to be controlled simutaneously, separated from the room group “Living” of which I belong. It is a very simple method by which you can distribute the Philips Hue lights on rooms and areas.
