The long-awaited application that will bring WhatsApp Messenger from mobile phones and smartphone pe PC and MAC OS X, was launched.
For those already familiar with the in-browser application, WhatsApp Web, desktop application does not bring great news. The only difference is that you no longer need to open it Chrome, Safari, Opera or Firefox to enter WhatsApp from PC. Otherwise, the interface, the operating principle and the options remained unchanged.
Just like WhatsApp Web, WhatsApp application for Windows and Mac OS X, is an extension of the mobile application, as it is necessary that, in addition to the PC, you also have a mobile phone connected to the Internet with the application installed. Whatsapp for Desktop, is based on the mirror synchronization of conversations and information from the mobile application. Without having a mobile phone at hand, you cannot connect to WhatsApp. The authentication process is done as in the case of the WhatsApp Web application, by scanning the QR code with the mobile application.
Compared to the in-browser application, the great advantage of the Desktop version is that we no longer have to consume system resources (RAM and CPU memory) with an extra tab, open in Chrome or Firefox, and access to conversations is much easier by accessing the application.
WhatsApp Desktop App is available at download on the official website of the application, and to install it on your PC, you need a system withWindows 8 (or newer) orMac OS X 10.9 (or newer).
For operating systems Microsoft Windows 7, only the WhatsApp Web version remains for the moment.
