For users Windows 7 wishing to experiment Metro interface with Live Tiles before launch Windows 8, can do this with the help of a Freeware applications (free), called Mosaic.

Mosaic comes to the package with widget-uri live customizabile, which can be added from menu and moved anywhere on desktop and that displays Content from the Internet, computer information or links to applications.
*Remember! The Mosaic application is still in Alpha version and can be unstable.
How does mosaic work?
- to open Mosaic menu, place the cursor in the right side of the monitor and click (remember that Mosaic is not compatible with dual-monitor and most likely the menu will not open if you have taskbar-u to the right or left of the desktop)

- to add link to a favorite site Click on Pin website in the menu, and to add Link to an application installed in the system Click on Pin application (in order to Delete the links Click-right on these, then click on Remove)
- in order to add widgets (live tiles) on the desktop Click on Widgets In the mosaic menu, then click on the widgets you want to display

- in order to hides widgets from desktop, click again on the widgets icons in the menu
- Widget animation and Mosaic full-screen can be disabled or activated from Mosaic Options

- You can add Facebook contacts on the desktop giving click on People and logging in to your personal account
To be able to use the mosaic, you must have installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 and Internet Explorer 9 (for Widgets with HTML 5).
Note: Mosaic is compatible with all Windows 7, 32 or 64 bits (not compatible with XP and Vista).
