The Windows Build Conference, yesterday's outfit in California, Microsoft finally showed an Preview of the new Windows 8 operating system. It will be totally different from previous Windows systems, at least as regards Graphic interface for users (GUI).
Built on the solid foundation a Windows 7 system, the new operating system will bring improvements in performance, security and reliability. In Plus, Noua Metro -style interface, specially created to improve experienta touch, will display important information for users and provide control total to them.
With the presentation made within Windows Build, Microsoft has announced and Launch Windows 8 Developers Preview platform (a kind of pre-beet version of the operating system), this being available at download Since last night, in three variants:
- Special platform for developers, only available on 64-be and which contains tool-uri special for development Metro applications (Windows SDK, Microsoft Visual Studio 11 Express, Microsoft Expression Blend 5), as well as 28 Metro applications (including the application Build conference)
- two Preview platforms (available x86 and x64) containing only Metro applications, meant to familiarize Windows user with the new interface
Before installing Windows 8 Preview Platforms Check if your system meets the following requirements:
- processor (32 or 64-bit) of 1 GHz or faster
- minim 1 gb ram for 32-bit or 2 GB RAM for 64-bit
- Minim 16 GB (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit) space-bar Pe hard-disk
- DirectX 9 with driver WDDM 1.0 (or stronger)
- (Optional) Monitor touch-screen To be able to test the new interface specially created touch-input
