If you have installed Windows 7 and video plate of your PC supports Aero (transparent glass effect), then all new Windows elements should be transparent. Although Windows 7 came with major graphics changes compared to Windows XP, in terms of graphics Command Promptand Notepad, Microsoft has not changed anything, except for the edges transparent that appear in all open applications and windows.
