After various possible release dates of the latest software product from Microsoft, that's how Microsoft officially announces the new launch date Windows 8 as being Friday October 26, 2012. This 8th generation of Windows will be, it seems, especially oriented towards touch-screen devices, Metro interface being one of the main visual novelties present in the new version, thus Microsoft trying to conquer the tablet segment, where Android and iOS dominate copiously and in this way realize the interconnectivity between desktop and tablet and or smartphone. Initially, the launch was established together with Windows 8 and the mobile operating system Windows Phone 8, but later it was decided to postpone it for November of this year. As I presented in a previous article, the new operating system will be available in several variants: Windows 8 classic is dedicated to computers equipped with x86 processors, and the variant Windows 8 RT will be specially designed for portable devices equipped with ARM processors such as tablets and smartphonethe Variant RT it will only be sold pre-installed on compatible devices and the classic one can be purchased separately after October 26, 2012.

At the beginning of August the option RTM (Release to Manufacturing) will reach the hands of the producers, who will be the first to be able to test the performance of this new product Microsoft and they will be able to issue relevant conclusions about this operating system which is meant to be a totally changed one compared to everything it has produced Microsoft yet.
