The great producer Prestige announced the launch of a new affordable tablet from the range intended for the business segment, the new MultiPad Consul 7008 4G PROVIDING un display compact with a diagonal of 8 inches, a processor quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 and 4G connectivity.
Market tablets it is strongly competed by that of phones with very large screens, the latter winning especially against the compact models. While the 7-8 inch segment will be the hardest hit, the segment immediately above will fare a bit better, and Prestige try to make this work.
Prestigio MultiPad Consul 7008 4G uses a screen with a diagonal of 8″, IPS panel and a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Platform hardware is built around a processor model Snapdragon 410, which renders four nuclee ARM Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.2 GHz and an Adreno 306 graphics core, though 64-bit architecture of the nuclei is not fructified because the tablet uses version KitKat 4.4 of the Android platform.
This processor is accompanied by 1 GB of RAM memory, 8 GB of internal memory and a MicroSD slot which allows the expansion of the latter with a card of up to 32 GB. The attraction of the tablet is the 4G modem, which is compatible with the standard LTE Cat 4 and offering transfer rates of 150 Mbps for download and 50 Mbps for upload. On the list of specifications we also find two cameras with 2 and 0.3 MP sensors, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n interfaces and Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, microphone, a pair of speakers and an OTG compatible Micro USB 2.0 connector. The battery has a capacity of 3700 mAh.
Tableta MultiPad Consul 7008 4G it uses a case made of rubberized plastic material and metal inserts, the company trying to offer a design that is a bit more distant from the usual note we were used to.
