two things / driver missing and a small detail, which ate all my nerves + ~ 4 hours.
The adventure begins with a Desktop Packard Bell BV IMEDIA 8602 , bought from ULTRA Pro , cu Windows XP Home Edition pre-installed with a bonus DVD recovery. DVD Recover , which normally should have been used very easily by anyone trying to reinstall their operating system. Eu I tried to reinstall the system with that DVD, three, four times and each time I got stuck at one point:

Normal, for me (and for Eugen) they have always “Ok” with the mouse … only that has been disabled. Good…era mouse pe port USB , I changed the mouse to PS2 . I had the same fate. We cannot select from the keyboard “ok” or at least make some movement on the screen above. I repeated this scheme three, four times until I gave up and tried to install Windows XP SP2  (on recover was Home Edition), in the hope that you drivers for IMEDIA 8602 on site-ul de suport al Packard Bell or other profile site. okay..

Install Windows XP SP2 : Delete all partitions on the hard drive, create new partitions, format one on which to install the operating system and install nicely to the end, without problems. The surprise came when I couldn't find two drivers ( Multimedia Audio Controller and SM BUS Controller ) and I started to install all the drivers from the support page, until system errors appeared instead of sound. :) On the support.packardbell.com, for the model IMMEDIATE 8602 , I am nothing but tutorial and one kit care create recovery boot cd..
Install Windows XP SP2 – the second part – : this time without format, but after installing the two drivers Multimedia Audio Controller and SM BUS Controller , they were also undeniable.

Fourth or fifth attempt with dvd recover , a avut succes . I finally saw it too (after Eugen left), like that scene at “Ok” and “CaNcel” two letters on the keyboard are highlighted in blue and caps lock. O and N .

ok… in conclusion, no drivers can be found on the net Multimedia Audio Controller and SM BUS Controller , for Desktop Packard Bell BV IMEDIA 8602 , and I have to take Eugen for a walk until one ophthalmology office.
