Recent, Avast Software released updated versions of its security products, Avast Free Antivirus 2015, Avast Internet Security 2015 and Avast Premier 2015, which contain new security technologies and performance optimizations. Here are the main novelties regarding the three versions:
- utility Remote Control replaced the function Acces Anywhere from the Avast Premier 2015 package, it being accessible in the menu Account, at the section My Other Devices.
- The function Browser Cleanup is now present in the application interface and is activated at every scan, using the option Smart Scan. Therefore, users are automatically warned if dangerous add-on components are detected, attached to the web browser, with the option to remove them.
- The implementation of technologies for virtualization offers increased performance and stability, while the component WebShield has a reduced impact on the web browsing experience and optimally manages expired security certificates.
- Extension Google Chrome with updated design;
- Version compatibility Windows 10 Technicall Preview;
- User license activation system during the installation process was improved.
Users using older versions of Avast security products can switch to the latest available version, using the update utility included within the application, accessible in the section Settings > Updates > Program.
