This is a really great function, I have been using acronis for 5-6 years and I can say 100% that it is the best backup program, I have never had any problems.
I am currently emptying the 2016 version, but from this article it seems that the 2018 version comes with an extremely useful feature, at least in my case where I work with several thousand documents, a ransomware requires my resignation on the spot.
With acronis full backup every 1-2 months and my data is protected even if the computer catches fire, of course the backup is not saved on the same computer, external hdd and/or online.

Yes, it really is an extremely useful solution. It would be good to see more developers of backup solutions, and companies and even home users to understand that data is not safe if it is stored on a single hdd :)
The companies think they have understood this, or at least the vast majority of them, as for home users here, they still need a lot of time to understand this, and not because they don't have a mind, but simply out of disinterest, the vast majority go by the premise “it just won't happen to me”, but also when it happens…you have to shoot then.
I admit, I found myself in the above example and it took months until I recovered some of my lost data, I don't think there is better mental learning than this and now I'm blowing in the yogurt, as they say.
