Data Saver, a Google Chrome extension that reduces data traffic by internet connection

Google Recently launched a new web browser extension Chrome, which allows to save data traffic made available by subscriptions for mobile internet connections.

Wearing a suggestive name, Extension data saver directs the websites visited by a server proxy made available even by Google, this being responsible for applying a compression algorithm, which substantially reduces the volume of data transferred to display the page in browser-ul web. Being currently in Stadia beta, the extension has not yet reached the final form and cannot be used in the module Incognito and also does not allow access to websites that use Secure SSL connections. Once installed, the extension can be activated with a dedicated button, positioned next to the address bar. The same button allows us to follow the data traffic made so far through the internet connection and how many MB we have saved with the compression function.

Tested since March 2013, data compression service could be included as an integral part of future versions Google Chrome. For now, to use the extension Data Saver We need at least the version Google Chrome 41. The function Data Saver is also available in versions Google Chrome for iOS and Android, can be activated from the menu Settings, ticking the option Data Saver.
