Firefox 30 is available starting today on Mozilla servers, update-ul to be made available in browser in the following days. The face of the version Firefox 29, which came with a major interface change (Australis), version 30 is a update minor, which comes bundled with few visible changes, but with a rather impressive number of news for developers.

Features and news in Firefox 30

1. Starting with this browser version, Mozilla decided that all the plugins (except those added in whitelist) to be disabled by default, the user having to manually activate if they want to use them on the web (click-to-paly or ask-to-activate). 2. Firefox 30 brings support for GStreamer 1.0 (until the previous version, the browser offered support only for GStreamer 0.1), this in turn bringing support for H.264 (video) yes Mp3 and acc (audio) for systems Linux which already use GStreamer 1.0 (the previous version will continue to be supported in parallel).
