Windows 7 really requires a somewhat healthier configuration (comparable to the one required by XP), but it does not have very high demands if we are evaluating PCs and latest generation notebooks. In addition, compared to XP, it presents a flexibility which he lacked (and he felt this lack acutely), and the design is impeccable.
