DWEXE or Desktop Windows Manager It's a system process which belongs where Microsoft, included in the last two operating systems created by it (Windows Vista and Windows 7).
Desktop Windows Manager is responsible for graphic effects from Vista and 7 (3D effects, transparency, live preview - Thumbnails). Aero interface consume enough resources, which leads to Decreased PC performance with a weaker configuration. In this case we recommend deactivating the DWM.exe process for increased performance (Control Panel –> Services –> Desktop Windows Manager Session Manager –> click-dreapta Properties –> Startup type: Disabled).
The location of the legitimate process dwm.exe is C:|WindowsSystem 32. If you discover this process on anywhere another location, urgently perform a system scanning because this could be virus, trojan or spyware!
