The package Microsoft Office 2016, scheduled for official launch in the second half of this year, is available starting today in version Preview, intended for developers, and users who want to experience some of the novelties reserved for the next edition Microsoft Office. According to company representatives, “this early build does not include all features prepared for the fina productl”, other optimizations to be delivered through monthly updates.
Among the attractive elements is the component Outlook 2016, improved for more efficient use of storage space, increased performance when delivering email messages and revision of the search function. Other improvements were brought in Word 2016 applications and Excel 2016, referring to the function for inserting images.
Compared to other versions Office, the long-awaited package Microsoft Office 2016 comes without changes to the level add-in components and macro, thus thanking business clients who want to avoid any compatibility problems when running complex macros and documente spreadsheet. Proposed as a substitute for Microsoft Lync, Skype for Business it presents itself with an interface similar to the version Skype for regular users, offering in addition integration with more Office applications. Available, for the moment, in version Preview, the Skype for Business application it will be delivered in the final version starting from April.
