Support period for operating systems Windows Vista RTM, Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2000 is fast approaching the end.

On April 13, 2010, Microsoft will cease support for the operating systems Windows Vista RTM (i.e. without SPs), and on July 13, 2010, support for Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2000 / Windows Server 2000 will end. Yes, they only chose dates with luck. 13 & 13 :)

The end of official support for these operating systems means the end Security updates, hardware compatibility / software and architecture updates. Among these systems, after July 13, support will only be maintained for Microsoft Windows Server 2003, but it will be moved from Mainstream Support pe Extended Support.

Users of Windows XP SP2 they are advised to switch to the version Windows XP SP3 or upgrade Windows 7 OS (for those whose PCs are compatible with Windows 7.)
It is interesting that more and more have been reported lately crashoperating systems Windows XP SP2. It seems that these crashes that often start with Bsod and ends with the reinstallation of the operating system, they appear either after Windows SP2 updates or later installing some drivers which in the past were compatible on Windows XP SP2. Strange.

I don't know if there is any connection or if it was just a coincidence, but 3-4 PCs with Windows XP SP2 recently installed, have “cracked” after trying to install some modem driversthe Internet Mobile (gen Orange Mobile)

If it happened to protect you blue screen error (Blue Screen of Death / Bsod) or others abnormal errors pe Windows XP SP2, please leave us a message in the comments.
