Although initially announced that only the first 2.5 million of faster -handed users (than the others, obviously) will be able to obtain a product key for Enable Beta version a Windows 7 (offered for download on Microsoft's website), it seems due to huge demand, Microsoft decided not to upset their users and threw their air limit of 2.5 million, fixing it instead somewhere on January 24 a.c. (ie over ~ 2 weeks).
We have clearly heard that many of you want to check out the Windows 7 Beta and, as a result, we have decided remove the initial 2.5 million limit on the public beta for the next two weeks (thru January 24th). During that time you will have access to the beta even if the download number exceeds the 2.5 million unit limit.
Finally, after many speculations, carcotheals, excuses and accusations, each It's free to test (if he wants) the new Windows operating system, and Microsoft escapes (again: P) with a clean face.
