Since the launch of the first Android mobile operating system, there were all kinds of project With the help of which it was tried (and with some it was very successful, for example WindowsAndroid and BlueStacks) running Android OS pe computers And others -Device which, obviously, were not created to run Android. Android x86 is such a project, which Porteaza Android OS to be able to be installed and run on Devices with X86 processors (I mean Intel and AMD).

For those interested in testing this project on the computer (or tablet) provided, recently launched Test Build version for Android–x86 4.2 (which is based on the newest version of Android, Jelly Bean 4.2.2), of which feature-uri are the following:
- Linux Kernel 3.8.0
- Accelera Hardware OpenGL is For AMD Radeon and Intel chipsets
- support for multi-touch, WiFi, audio, Camera and Backlight control
- simulare SDCard (internal storage)
- self-montare For USB and SD cards
- suport multi-user (maximum 8 users)
- suport Ethernet (DHCP) – Allows Testing by VirtualBox
- suport VirtualBox

The test version Android-x86 4.2 does not include (unfortunately) support for ARM translator, which means that many Applications and games FROM Google Play they will not be able to be rolled. But until this is resolved (we hope in a Final version), users who want to support reinforcement can test the version Android-x86 4.0 RC2 (Much more stable than 4.2).

Note: I give in mind that this is a test version that contains enough bugs, we recommend testing Android-X86 4.2 by virtualBox (for installation the same steps follow as for a Windows system).
