After almost a year since the launch of the version beta 1, the desktop application of blog publishing , Windows Live Writer , reached the version Beta 2 . The graphic interface brings something out of the air Windows Vista ;)

The application is compatible with the platforms: Windows Live Spaces, SharePoint, WordPress, Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad, Moveable TypeandCommunity Server and brings in addition to the version beta 1 Some new options:

– the possibility of adding a new category directly from the interface

– Creating new pages (option valid only for blogs using as a platform WordPress or Moveable Type) ,

– set publish date (Allows the time/date on which the blog post appears)

– so interesting in + at the new version.

The only major change and that is felt, is something in Microsoft's spirit . Once the application is opened, a processsvchost.exe duce CPU the 100% . We tested the new version and this is the 4th post published by Windows Live Writer Beta 2 . Last. Uninstall … and I come back to beta 1. : D.
