After the version was launched in FebruaryWindows 8 Consumer Preview, the American giant Microsoft  accelerates the promotion and testing procedure of the last generation of the operating system Windows 8 and release the version with the arrival of summerWindows 8 Release Preview. As they announced, Windows 8 will be available in 3 variants, for different classes of users: Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 RT. Microsoft also thought about users with older computers and designed Windows 8 Pro to be able to be run acceptably on x86 systems. The RT version will be specially designed for the new generation of ARM processors and will be delivered pre-installed.

The system will have integrated the Office package developed by the same manufacturer and will include the already known Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications adapted for touch screens, but the novelty is the removal from the kit of the Windows Media Player application, which seems to have lost the battle with the other products on the market and is no longer of interest to users. The new versions will be available on 32 and 64 bits and can be downloaded from www.microsoft.com immediately after the official launch. The next step after the Release Preview is the RTM (Release to Manufacturing) expected sometime in August 2012 and in the fall of September October 2012 the long-awaited final version.
