I've been playing on a computer for some time and I started to realize what that one is “Folder” and what is done with an archive .rar, .zip, .ace, etc. Today I downloaded a 130MB file which honestly for my speed of 30Kb/s is quite high and deprives me of several hours of internet. In the end, I knew pretty much what the file contained and I thought it was worth the effort to download it, only that at the end after I saw “Download task completed” , I made my eyes wide, round and looked at the reflection in the monitor glass to see if there were any traces of horns…on my head (so ma …I remained like a cow).

The file had the extension .7z ! Let it be … In the years I have spent in front of the PC, I admit that I have not seen anything like this. No problem! Man learns as long as he lives , mi-am spus si sincer pe internet cu 3 motoare de cautare super cunoscute si alte sute nestiute de multi tot sa gasesti informatiile de care ai nevoie.

.7z – 7-Zip este un soft free , arhivator de fisiere cu o rata de compresie in format 7z de 2-10 % . Packing / unpacking: 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2 and TAR , unpacking: RAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZH, CHM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB and NSIS.
Softul are o interfata destul de simpla si este disponibil si in limba romana.
