One of the largest shortcomings of the new Start Screen in Windows 8 is that it does not allow users to create their own tile-uri custom to launch Applications or to open FILES. But as we used to, any shortcomings of Windows operating systems can be covered with the help of some Third-Party applications.
Such an application is also OblyTile, and tool gratuit through which users can create tile sites to which they can associate programs or files, the latter can only be opened with a simple click on the respective tiles. In addition, users can choose what background wish for tile, whether it is a Custom color, or o Image/photo.
Creating a new tile with OblyTile It is a very simple process, users just having to Launch the application (this No installation), to introduce name for tile and the path to the program or file they want to open through it, to select the image for icon (120×120 and 30×30) and the background color, and then click on the button Create Tile.
Oblytile is the only application for Windows 8 which allows Creating Custom Tile to launch applications installed in the system, and will definitely be successful among the fans of the new Start Screen.
