In November last year, Microsoft announced that he will release the update Microsoft Office 2013 SP1 sometime at the beginning of this year. Microsoft Office 2013 SP1 includes in the package a series of update-uri for improving stability suite, but also for security and functionality this one, as well as some others fix-uri for existing bugs in the initial version.

In list of updates included in Office 2013 SP1 the following are included:

• solutions of compatibility for Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer 11
• back better for hardware modern, like touchpad-uri and devices with DPI performant
• We APIs for developers
• the ability to insert and use content applications in slideshow-uri PowerPoint 2013
• Power Map for Excel, and tool of 3D visualization for interacting with geographic and temporal data in Excel (available for subscribers Office 365 ProPlus)
• improvements for Click-to-Run virtualization technology, which installs and updates Desktop applications Office 365
• replacing SkyDrive Pro cu One Drive Business

Also, Microsoft Office 2013 SP1 includes and public updates and cumulative released for the suite starting in fall 2013.

Regarding the updates for Exchange 2013, they include support for Windows Server 2012 R2, support for S/MIME in Outlook, OWA yes customers Exchange AcriveSync and Edge Transport for the server.

Service Pack-ul is available from February 25 via Microsoft Download Center, Windows Update and WSUS. For users Office 365, SP1 updates will be included automatic in the next periodic update of the suite.
