Google updated the app collection for devices Apple, taking full advantage of the new functions introduced with the release of the version iOS 8. One of the beneficiaries, the messaging service Gmail, acquired three new functions, designed for the efficient management of email messages. The first modification, made following the example of native iOS 8 applications, allows us to reply or archive email messages interacting directly with the message of notification, without wasting time navigating to the application to take action. The function is particularly useful in cases where we already know the subject of the message and we know that we do not need to open the message to read it.

The second function is aimed at managing and sending attachments. Now almost any file can be sent as an attachment to email messages using the file sharing support from iOS 8, even without opening Gmail. In order for this function to be available, only activation is required Gmail in the list of activities. The third change refers to the management of files received as attachments, they can be opened in Gmail using the associated iOS application, offering the entire visual experience and access to the functions of the respective application.

Along withGmail, arrived at the version 4.0, the iOS versions of the applications were also updated Docs, Sheets and Google Drive, receiving only minor functions as well as others bug fix-uri.
