SmartClose It's O Freeware application which many PC users could find very useful. What can SmartClose do? Well, you can close all applications with a single click which is running at that moment. Nothing special, if you remember CloseAll. Insa SmartClose saves the system state before closing applications (snapshot) so that they can be reopened later, without exception, also with a single click.

If you have often found yourself in the situation of having to close all open applications to restart the PC or to allocate all resources (or most of them) other processes, and every time you have a heart attack doing this, then you know why you need SmartClose. :)

1. Save the current state of the system, then close all running applications

Smartclose closes all your applications properly, after what saves system state before their closure and after saving their settings, so that when they are reopened you don't have to set everything from the beginning (in newer versions of Windows SmartClose also restarts system services which could interrupt other processes). In addition, all the resources occupied by the applications and their processes will be "returned" to the system. :)

In quite rare cases, when SmartClose cannot simply close an open application, it will be terminated using SmartKill (resources will also be released). If you do not want certain programs to be closed by SmartClose, you can add them to list of protected programs.

2. Reopens all programs that were closed with SmartClose

The option of Restore restores one of the previous system states, saved in snapshoturi, reopening all the applications that were running at that moment (you can uncheck the applications that you do not want to reopen).
