Most of the big anti-virus manufacturers offer services on their websites online scan, through which anyone who wants to can check their files. One of the best online scanning services is VirusTotal. At the base of the virus detection and analysis project & trojans, there are many antivirus engines of major anti-virus software companies.

The method of use is very simple. Access the web page: www.virustotal.com/ro/ and you have the possibility to send (upload) the file you want to check. Wait until the file is uploaded and analyzed, after which a report with the scan results will be listed.

I tested VirusTotal with EICAR.COM. (virus test file). In the image below you have a screenshot with the final report:
