How to restrict user access to USB Storage in Windows
- open Registry Editor (taste regedit in Run sau in Search-ul din Start Menu And give Enter)
- Navigate to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesUSBSTOR
- in the right panel change the value of the DWORD entry Start FROM 3 in 4 (to disable USB device access already installed and system)

- then right click on the key USBSTOR and select Permissions from the displayed menu
- select the group SYSTEM and tick Deny next Full Control (to prevent the installation of new USB devices in the system and at the same time reset VALUE Start when connecting them)

After you make these changes, whenever you try to connect USB devices to the computer, the message will be displayed on the monitor Access is denied.
Note: Before making any changes to the system registries, it is recommended to create a backup of them to avoid possible unpleasant consequences.
