For several days now, Microsoft has been forcing the upgrade of old operating systems Windows 7 and Windows 8 to the new Windows 10. There would have been nothing abnormal or upsetting if this upgrade had come as “optional” as it was launched last summer.
A few days ago I wrote about the automatic installation of the upgrade to Windows 10, without the users' consent, and I gave a solution to help block this automatic upgrade. Microsoft has changed the upgrade status from “optional” the “recommended”, which means that it can install in the background without prior approval.

How can we block the automatic installation / upgrade from Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 to Windows 10
Users who have blocked this upgrade, are still stressed at every system startup (we are talking here about Windows 7 and Windows 8), with “invitation” of immediate upgrade to Windows 10, or the possibility to schedule it for another time or date. Possibly at night.
In addition to this message that appears on the screen every time the computer is turned on, in the systray (the lower right corner where is the clock), appear notifications and Windows 10 logo, which periodically invites you to upgrade.
How can we block the Windows 10 upgrade notification and the removal of the Windows 10 logo from the System Tray
The update is responsible for these notifications KB3035583, which can be blocked and uninstalled very easily by anyone who wants to get rid of this notification.
We open Command Prompt (CMD) with Administrator privileges, then write the command line:
wusa /uninstall /KB:3035583

We wait until the KB:3035583 update is found, then click on the Yes button from the dialog box.

After uninstalling the KB:3035583 update, restart the computer. After starting, the Windows 10 upgrade message will no longer appear. Neither on the screen nor notification in the systray.
