How can we reset Windows Firewall to Default settings
Although it is part of security operating systems Windows for years, most users do not know what it represents Firewall-ul and not even how it works. In short Firewall-ul act as one shield between one computer (or a local network) and Internet, controlling both the traffic from the computer to the Internet (outgoing traffic), as well as the traffic from the Internet to the computer (incoming traffic). For example, computers connected to the Internet directly via cable (without the interference of a router) au public IP addresses, that is, they can be accessed by anyone on the Internet, which means that any services used on those computers (such as native ones for sharing) can be accessed from other computers on the Internet. Firewall-ul prevents any type of internet connections, except those accepted by user.

Cum restaura Firewall-ul la setarile default in Windows?
- taste firewall in Start Menu or Start Screen (nu selectati Advanced firewall din rezultatele afisate!)
- Click on the option Restore defaults on the left side of the displayed window

- then confirm the reset by clicking again Restore defaults

Also, Default settings but Windows Firewall can be restored from Command Prompt (open Command Prompt with Administrator privileges), using the command netsh advfirewall reset.

Note: Windows users who use routers to connect to the Internet are usually (with few exceptions) protected from unwanted traffic, the routers acting as a hardware firewall, thanks to the NAT (network address translation) feature.
