If you did jailbreak the device with iOS 6.x from endowment before Security updates made by Apple, you are most likely wondering if the jailbreak will work and for these. Well, the good news is that yes, you can also jailbreak the updates, but the bad news is that you will have to start all over again modifications and application downloads from Cydia (and from App Store) made after jailbreak.

If you don't want to go through everything again the customization process of the iOS device, you can avoid at least a (quite substantial) part of it, viz manual reinstallation of applications downloaded from Cydia (which you should first re-identify) and re-tweaking the system.
OpenBackup It's O Free application, available only for jailbroken iOS devices, which allows users to backup both system tweaks and applications downloaded from Cydia.

How does OpenBackup work?
- download the application from Cydia and install it
- Click the button of Backup (this will be saved either in icloud, if it is activated, either in iTunes)

- then open iTunes and do upgrade to the latest version of iOS
- after upgrade, Jailbreak your iOS device again
- go in Cydia and download again application OpenBackup
- Then click on the button Restore and wait for the application to finish restoring the backup.
After the restore process is complete, you will again have all the tweaks for the system and all the applications downloaded from Cydia. Succes!.
