With the launch of the latest update of Windows 10, Microsot introduced “Find My Device“. Similar to the service Find my Mac and Find My iPhone of the Apple, this feature helps us to locate where the laptop is in case of loss or theft.
“Find My Device” USE GPS location and Location Services, and to see the location in which another device will have to access the personal Microsoft account at the address account.microsoft.com/devices. The location can be done in real time, or you can opt to send the location to Microsoft servers regularly.
Activation of the service “Find My Devices” can be done from Settings > Update & Security > Find My Devices.
The service is diponible both on laptop-uri and PCs as well as on Tablets with Windows 10.
