After many years in which Microsoft seemed to forget to bring substantial changes and improvements to the latest operating system, recently something has changed in the company's policy. Windows 10 gets closer to users with new productivity features, utility implementations and design changes.
The latest update of Windows 10 Insider (beta version for testers and developers) brought, among many other changes, two new icons for Task Manager and for files with the extension .MSI (Windows Installer Package).

It is known that for a long time complex and utilitarian applications were in vogue through which to change the interface of Windows XP, Windows Vista and even Windows 7 or Windows 8.
With Windows 10, Microsoft gave more freedom to users to customize their graphical interface directly from the Windows 10 settings, without the need for “hack” or other crazy programs. And yes, we have for some time “Dark Mode” pe Windows 10.
Also from this year, substantial changes were also made to the icons of some user folders and applications. “Desktop“, “Music“, “Documents“, “Pictures“, “Downloads” and “Videos” got new icons. Beautiful and intuitive.

The pleasant surprises continue Windows Terminal 1.9 Preview with support “Quake Mode” which allows opening a new terminal window from anywhere in Windows by shortcut, plus new UI settings without needing a JSON file.
