Google Chrome OS: Surprise with premeditation

The only thing he still lacks Googleis one operating system. But not for long, judging by the official announcement made on Google Blog regarding the launch A Chrome OS in the second half of 2010. Predictably I would add (not the release date, but the announcement itself). Many have been expecting this for a long time, as a result of the ascension Google Inc. in recent years, as a result the announcement did not shock, instead it surprised many because of the period in which it was made, the period dominated by , the new OS of where Microsoft which will be released in a few months. Moreover, it seems that Microsoft has an announcement to make next Monday, July 13, and most likely it will be about the completion Windows 7 RTM. Or not. Or it could be related to Gazelle.

If you haven't heard of Gazelle, well this project is Microsoft's alternative to (idem vs. Live Search vs. MSN), and browser "evolved" that behaves (or at least has the intention) as an individual operating system (but dependent on Windows). Microsoft had scheduled the presentation of this "super-browser" prototype in August of this year, but it would not be excluded that it was brought forward due to the announcement made by Google and took place next Monday.

In the meantime, the internet is full of speculations about ChromeOS, they were even invented tell which have it as the main protagonist, although the only information provided by Google is the fact that it will be an operating system created especially for those who spend most of their time surfing the Internet and that, most likely, it will be free. Some want to turn it into the perfect operating system, the most dreamed of and expected, others criticize it and reject it without right of appeal even from the announcement stage, but the only sure thing is that Google managed to divert the attention of many from Windows 7 (at least until July 13 :P)
