Putting – programmer who can run automatically without the need for human interaction - they were originally created with the aim of helping and in no case to cause harm COMPUTER or networking. The functions of the bots were - and still are - very useful search engines (for indexing sites), auction sites, online chats or for Games. But, due to the fact that they can automate almost anything command or task on the computers on which they are present, they were later modified by a category apart by users and used for exploitation: for bandwidth sabotage, for spam, for infecting computers and networks with various types of malware, for performing DoS attacks, for initiating click fraud (online advertising) or for plagiarist.
Considering the fact that antivirusii ordinary people do not always detect bots that pose a danger to computers - and here we are referring in particular to antivirusii free – Trend Micro created a Free software (anti-bot monitoring tool) specialized in identifying and blocking them, namely RUBotted. It actively checks the computer to ensure that no bots with "bad intentions" get through border, and informs users to take measures if it detects their presence on the PC.
How does RUBotted work?
RUBotted first identifies dangerous bots in the system (if they exist in the system) and then identifies them processes correlated with them. Immediately after, request a scan and o computer cleaning to get rid of uninvited guests. In the window of settings you have the option to include (or exclude) a few monitoring tools (http, smtp, irc or dns) and you can also choose to connect to Internet prin proxy (any type of Internet connection is recommended, so that RUBotted can perform daily updates about new bots or new behaviors from databases ale Trend Micro).
