Many times when we look for something on Google, the results are not exactly the ones, and that's because many do not know how to look for exactly what interests them. I wrote almost a month ago about advanced searches using Google search engine (see: Google Search: Advanced Operators), in which we show some search definitions in the title of a site and/or in the URL (web address). Search method Of which I write this post is a little different, because the results displayed can also be well filtered by the user and in addition allows the display of directories behind a site. Okay!
I'll take an example of a trivial search. Let's say I want to look for Music .mp3 for download with the help Google.
Standard search , would be to write in the google search bar “mp3 download” .
The result of the search “mp3 download” – click here – google.com
The results above do not think it would help me with anything and it would take a few good minutes to find something that can be downloaded.
Filtered search for folders/files. In the bar Search of Google, apart from the keyword “Mp3” I will put the search engine and some conditions for filtering the results, not to display pages/files that have the ends: PDF, HTML, DOC, HTML, etc. …
File search .mp3. : “parent directory ” MP3 -html -htm -php -shtml -pdf -doc -xml -md5 -md5sums
The result of the search “Mp3” – click here – google.com
Ehh? Is this a difference? Since the first result displayed I found files .mp3: p. Dj Sets mp3 ;)
“parent directory ” MP3 -html -htm -php -shtml -pdf -doc -xml -md5 -md5sums
– “parent directory ” or “Index of / ” By Default are displayed by all web servers, when they are accessed through a folder browser that have no index and no other access.
– Mp3 – the key search.
– -html -htm -php -shtml -pdf -doc -xml -md5 -md5sums – files that we wanted to be excluded from the list of results.
I increase the job :)
