How do we share a folder on OS X with a Windows system?
- open System Preferences and select Sharing

- In the open window, on the left side, select the option File Sharing

- Then click on plus sign displayed under Shared Folders, yes navigated (in Finder) to the folder you want to share

- After selecting Directory for sharing, click on the button Options And check the option Share files and folders using SMB, then select Customer (or users) Windows who would you like to access the Share-uit folder on OS X
