How to disable Windows Choice Browser in Windows 7
As we announced here, Microsoftl a road on March 1. the update that "brings" Windows Browser Choice on the small or large monitors of PCs with Windows 7 installed. Even if the idea is not exactly bad (maybe just a little absurd, from my point of view, with emphasis on "my") for those who will purchase Windows 7 in the near future – or less close, for those who have already purchased and installed this OS and opted to use it Internet Explorer ca browser principal it can be quite irritating to be put in the situation of choosing again the browser they want to use.

- If your computer is running Windows 7, the Browser Choice update removes Internet Explorer from a pinned location on the Start menu and in the taskbar.
- If you do not set Internet Explorer as your default Web browser, the Browser Choice update does not make any changes to your computer.
So, if you are among the owners of the Windows 7 operating system and you are sure (:P) that you do not want to change your browser (which has served you faithfully - or not, depending on the situation - for so long), then you can disable Windows Browser Choice so that it does not disturb the peace of your chosen one. :)
Disable Windows Browser choice using registries.
The operation is quite simple, especially if you are used to playing with your system registries (for various reasons):
- open Registry Editor (try regedit in Search programs and files in Start Menu And give Enter) then follow the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareBrowserChoice
- in the right panel create the entry (DWORD) Enable And give it the value 0 (where 0 = disable; if you later change your mind, you can change the value of the respective entry to 1, where 1 = enable, or you can delete this register)
- then close the registry editor.
Windows Browser Choice it won't bother you anymore (unless you let it :P)
Note: Windows Browser Choice is present as an important update for Windows 7 and its installation is irreversible.
